What is it?

Holland2O is treated water with a high Redox level. It is produced by treating the water with negative ionization. With an ionization we can top up the Redox value (Orp V). To make this process possible 9% HCl is used. This then undergoes an electrochemical process and HOCl (Hydrogen hypochlorite) is released.


There are many suppliers who produce ECA water, but all of them start the process based on NaCl. The very big disadvantage is that irrigation systems get erosed due to the salt level. Another disadvantage is that the PPM level is much too high (>30.000 ppm). Our ECA water based on HCl has no salt in it and the PPM level is below 30 ppm.


Agricultural applications of activated water are described for seed disinfection, cleaning equipment and packing materials, removal of biofilms from pipes, disinfection of flowers, fruits and vegetables.

Improving the quality of processing water

Holland2O can be used to improve the quality of drinking water in the food industry. Normally 5% of Holland2O is enough to increase the Redox level of the water to take care of the viruses, fungi and bacteria.

Holland2O can be used to extend the shelf life of food products. For maximum effect Holland2O should be used at the end of the production process. When the food is still wet spray a mist of undiluted Holland2O over the product.

Food preservation

The high Redox level of Holland2O can be used as a preservative which increases shelf life and naturally takes care of viruses, fungi and bacteria. Holland2O is a natural product and therefore the end product tastes much better then other chemical preservatives. The recommended dosage is 5% of the total mass of the end product.
